 What is Pinterest?

Pinterest is a social network where people share images, videos or infographics that are related to their interests. The pictures that are shared in that platform are mostly visuals that are interesting and absorbing. Users can create a board and fill it with a lot of content and they will also come across things that are similar to what they are interested in. The main idea there is actually discovering what individuals have shared and getting inspired by them.

I created an infographic about Pinterest



My Pinboard

People who visit my board will see those set of infographics and realize how learning vocabulary is turned into a concept that they will enjoy. As you see, a picture is put for each definition which helps people keep their attention alive. Let's imagine ourselves showing those infographics to our students and how they will feel about it.

 Hello everyone ! Welcome to my blogspot again. Today we are going to try to understand the TPAC model precisely. Before I start writing, I want to show you the elements of TPAC model by showing a picture. TPAC is a teaching model that emphasizes the learning process by including some elements like content , pedagogical and technological knowledge. Content Knowledge(CK) It is the piece of information that the teacher knows about the subject itself. It includes theories, concepts, approaches and so on.  What is Flipgrid? Flipgrid is a web platform where students are given the opportunity to share their own ideas or opinions about a topic that is given by their instructor by sharing their video . Teachers can generate a discussion which we can also say a "topic" to be discussed by their students and they can turn their camera on and talk about the topic at a given time. Of course there may be situations where some students do not want to do that but we have a solution for this. Teachers can allow those students to upload an image or an emoji. Generating a discussion As we can clearly see in the picture, there is a topic to be discussed. The students can share their video by clicking on the button "Record a Response" Responses Teachers can watch their students' video that is related to the discussion.
